Mixed Media Ampersand - Artists Live Show

Hello Hello Everyone!  Today I was up at Artists Live Ustream Show teaching how to recreate this little Ampersand using loads of Prima Products and my new favorite - the Izinks!

I've used a MDF figure and I added loads of fun mixed media techniques using stencils, modeling paste, texture paste and gesso. I also added some Viva decor - Inka Gold on the top of everything.

I added a couple of metal items like the barn stars from Finnabair's collection, rustic gears and a resin frame and of course loads of lovely flowers. If you would like to see how the project was made please check out the recording below.

I really liked making this project.. It's a fantastic gift for a wedding, for a couple of friends.

The wings on my project are from Tim Holtz with Prima Marketing Barn Stars and Nobs. Isn't the texture amazing?

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Would love to hear what you think about my project. Hugs!

Mixed Media Rust Effect Altered Box

Happy New Year everyone! A new year means new beginnings and I thought I'd start the new year with a little share of one of my resent projects. I made this as a gift for my aunt that turned 60 i November. An Altered tin with Finnabair's Rust effect Paste.

My base for my project is a sardin type tin that I've used loads of Finnabair's fantastic mediums to alter.

I added loads of microbeads, and shine to my project using Lindy's Stamp Gang mists. I love the dark blue mica that shines trough here.

Would you like to see how I altered this little tin? Please take a look at the video below.

I've used a bunch of vintage items like crochet items, a coin and some other little trinkets. The photo of my aunt is for her confirmation and she's about 15 years old.

The pocket watch was from last years release from Finnabair. I glued her photo onto a glass pebble and added it inside. The ribbon is colored with Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Would love to hear what you think about my little project. HUGS!
