Grattis! - Birthday Card - Ett Trykk/Scrapberry's

Heellloo hello! Sorry to say I'm not the best blogger these days, I'm trying to better myself - been out exercising alot lately and that sorry to say is stealing a bit from my Scrappy time. Anyways as some of you know I've been a contributor to a Norwegian scrapbook magazine called "Ett Trykk" and I haven't really shared anything I've made for them yet. So I thought this was a good day to share.
So I've played around a bit with Scrapberry's "Young and Free" collection. Not really my colors.. but it's fun to play around with pink sometimes.

I played around with layers witch I like very much. It gives dimension and interest to the card. The girl is also fuzzy cut out from the collection. I stamped with from a Norwegian company called "Kort & Godt". Flowers are from Prima.

Allright! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Have a fantastic day! :)

You and Me - Bingo! Layout - DT Scrapberry's

Hello Everyone! It's tutorail day over at the Scrapberry's international blog and I'm on the video team and of course I have a video for you today! In my last video post for Scrapberry's I played around with the Stain's Ink pads (you can find my post here) and I wanted to play some more with them, so I made a layout and a watercolor background playing with the Stain's Inks.

The pads has a beautiful vibrant color. The stickers on the pads "lies" a bit so I do recommend trying them out on a scrap piece of paper before applying to the project.

I have to say I really love the effect the pads had on my page, the flowed just as I wanted and made this flowy effect. I stamed a bit and splashed aswell to finish the background work. The papers added are from Scrapberry's "You and Me" collection on I also stamped with a prima flower stamp. Would you like to see how I made this layout please check out the video below.

I had so much fun making this page adding all the little details..

I added these beautiful metal trinkes from Scrapberry's - the clock face and the together metal embellishement witch was kinda perfect for my page.

The triangles are chipboards from Creative Embellishements. Those I really love. The Flair button are from Scrapberry's "Happily ever after" Collecction and was just the perfect color and sentiment.

I'll be joining these challenges with my layout:

Spring Basket - DT Scrapberry's & Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello Everyone! Today I have a little altered thing to show you. I'm combined two of my designteams bringing in the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid and the stunning papers from Scrapberry's into the mix. I made a little Spring/Easter Basket I would love to show you.

I have to say I really love the daffodil flowers from Wild Ochid Crafts. They are so gorgeous and perfect for any spring projects.

I made the basket out of an empty nut container. I painted it first with gesso and crackle paint. I glued papers from the Juliet Collection from Scrapberry's and added that to the box.

I made a wreath out of branches to place on top of my basket and decorated with a lot of flowers from Wild Orchid and fuzzy cut some butterflies out of the Juliet Collection from Scrapberry's.

The little bird is an embellishement from Scrapberry's and it was perfect from my little basket. The pinecones are real pinecones we find outside in some of my trees.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and if you want to see more projects with Wild Orchid Crafts products or Scrapberry's products, please visit their blogs. :)

Have a great Creative Day! - Yasmin

Don't forget to Smile - Card - DT Scrapberry's

Hello Everyone, it's my day over at Scrapberry's and we have started something new there. Every 7 days, you will get a video tutorial showcasing all the awesome stuff Scrapberry's has to offer. I made a video tutorial about how you can use the Scrapberry's Ink Stain stamp pad to create backgrounds to your cards.
I've used the "Forest Friends" collection for my card along with stamps for the "PhotoArchive".

And as promised I made a video tutorial on how I put together this card. I hope you like it.

The Stains ink has loads of great uses, you can spritz them with water and get an awesome look. Maybe that's something for my next Scrapberry's tutorial.

I'm joining in these challenges with my card:

Special - Layout - DT Scrapberry's

Hello my lovelies! Yesterday it was my turn over at the Scrapberry's blog. I made a layout this time I would like to share with you:

I used the "Words Live Forever" collection from Scrapberry's and some bits and pieces from the "Primavera" collection. I aslo added some old bookpages and doilies.

I started my page with embossing some starts with a stamp from Northstar Stamps. I used white ink to add the script with another background stamp, but this one is from Prima. I splattered some white dylusions ink and some glimmer glam "Rockin on Sunshine" to add some more interest.

I ended up not using any flowers on this, just paper embellishment, rhinestones and resins. All from Scrapberry's. Do you spot the super cute flair button?

The resin are from an older Scrapberry's collection, but you could still get them. It's from the "Vintage Circus" collection. I think the carousell was cute as my little Finnley is sleeping in my lap.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, for more inspiration with Scrapberry's products. Please go check out the blog. Hugs!

Hexagon box and Envelope - DT Scrapberry's

Goood morning lovlies! Back today to share my Scrapberry's project I posted on their blog a couple of days ago. These past dates I have numeral posts on the same day so I'm trying to spread it out abit on my blog. :) I made a little set with a hexagon shaped box and a little envelope.

I made myself a template to make this little hexagon box you can fill with whatever your hearts desire. The envelope are perfect for a money gift or gift card :)

So after I fashioned myself a little template I made a lid and a bottom. I stamped on the lid and added flowers, ribbons, twine and Scrapberry's embellishement. The Collection I've used is called "Cherised Jewels".

The bird is a beautiful Resin made by Scrapberry's. The large Pion like flower in the middle I bought at Ali Express. :) The Chipboard in the background is from Blue Fern and I've colored it with white splash ink from 13@rts.

I tried to match the little envelope and box by using the same products.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today :) If you would like to see other creations made with Scrapberry products. Please head on over to their blog

Make sure to stop by tomorrow! I have a new project to share :)

Autumn Cards - DT Scrapberry's

Good morning everyone! Today I'm back with a couple of cards I made for Scrapberry's this month. I'm getting my mojo back slow and steady and I'm seriously loving it! Tomorrow I'm leaving for a crop, hanging out with awesome ladies and I can't wait. It's going to be a blast! But enough about that.. The cards! Let's start with my moustachy one :)

So on my cards I've used the same products but they turned out slightly different anyways. I've used loads of Scrapberry's products and the papers here are from the "Egde of Town" collection and I've used the 6x6" Paper pack.

I cut out strips of paper and glued them on top of eachother, embellished with Scrapberry's chipboard and cork stickers. Also added a couple of translucent leaves and a air ballon on top. The strings are twine and wire thread from Prima.

After finishing with the embellishment, I splashed on top with glimmer glam - Stiletto and White dylusions ink.

Okey.. next card! :D

Like I said in the start the cards are quite similar, this is a horizontal card with some of the same embellishements. Love how they match :)

I'm joining in these challenges with my cards:

Allright! That's what I had to share today! For more projects with Scrapberry's products head on over to their blog! :) Thanks for stopping by! :)

About my absence, lost mojo and a first share..

Hello lovelies.. It's been a long time.. over a month since I posted anything. I've been struggeling.. loads.. with myself, my creativity.. not feeling like doing anything. Not finding the pleasure in hinding out in my scrapbook room like I used too. My scrapbooking is my sancturary. A place to hid from the stuff going on around me.. and there's loads of stuff going on. I have a.. let's say a difficult family life. I don't keep it a secret because I think that knowlegde gives you more understanding of how things are. My oldest son as ADHD and Aspergers, witch again leads to the difficult family life. Just dealing with the everyday things has been hard lately.

My creativity left me 1,5month ago.. a long with my self-confidence about the projects I make. They say that You are the worst critics to yourself. Believe me.. I truly am the worst critic. I take everything very personally when I do something. Like when I'm out taking photos. I can blame myself for the rain - if it rains. I know it's not my fault.. but I just do.. and then I don't sleep for days because I'm not happy with the things I made or the photos I took. So I stopped making stuff.. I wanted to make things.. I just couldn't.. I would sit at my desk an shovel the papers around me. I could cut into something only to not get anywhere with it. I questioned everything I did.. Still do.. And I felt really sad about it.. beause this is my lifestyle. This is what I love to do. So I cut myself away from everything scrapbooking as well.. I haven't been visiting loads of blogs, keeping up on facebook. Just went to my desk to work, turned of the lights and left it like it was at night.

I push myself to make something now.. Even though I know it's not amazing or it isn't the best I've ever made.. But just to make something and maybe it will come back to my finger tips. So I've made something small today.. It's for the new Scrapberry's challenge this month and it's all about Kids. You an make a card for small friend, scrapbook with kids or make something for a kid like I did.

I made this little notebook for my son to practice his ABC's. He just started 1grade in August.

I even covered a pencil with the same paper as the book. I've used the "Forest Friends" collection from Scrapberry's on my little notebook here. Hopefully my son with like it to..

If you managed to read my rantings on the top, I would like to thank you for it. I'm not fully back I would say.. but I've made something now.. More than I have in ages.. Thank you so much for reading this and stopping by!

Hugs to all!

Maritime Card - DT Scrapberry's

Hello my lovlies! Today I'm up on the international Scrapberry's blog and I've pulled out some of my favorite papers from Scapberry's "Holiday Romance" and made a maritime card.

I did some serious fuzzy cutting on this.. I love to fuzzy cut and I love those papers I can find some elements with in the paper to use. These are perfect for that.

I used a whole bunch of Scrapberry's products on this, all from papers to flair buttons and chipboard.  The sentiments means "Happy Birthday" and are stickers from a Norwegian company called Papirdesign.

I also embellished with Finnabiar Art Stones and real shells picked from the beach near my house. The cheesecloth I misted with some Color Bloom.

I'm joining in these challenges with my card:

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and if you would like to see more fantastic creations with Scrapberry's products. Please head on over to their blog. See ya! :)

Ballerina Notebook - DT Scrapberry's

Hello my lovlies! It's my day over at the Scrapberry's International blog and I have played with the most gorgeous Scrapberry's Collection "Juliet". I'm made decorated a notebook this time and I must say this I had so much fun decorating.

This collection is filled to the brim with pretty ballerinas and gorgoeus paper. I bought a couple of notebooks at IKEA and I just had to decorate them. I like the mystical, fantasy flowting swans and the ballerina in the photo.

So I used some modeling paste with one of my favorite Prima stencils and added the sequins to the background. I fuzzy cut from papers from the collection and added swans, flowers and the cut out photo. I embellished with flowers from both Scrapberry's and Prima adding lace and sting. Everything got splashed with some white gesso and the flowers got dry brushed too.

The backside I decorated quite easily with just patterend paper, the same stencil and modeling paste, some lace, splashes and a large stickers from Prima.

I love that large resin piece from Scrapberry's. It's so gorgeous and a perfect for my notebook.

I'm joing in these challenges with my notebook:

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and I'd love to hear what you think :)

Baby Mini Album - DT Scrapberry's

Hello Lovelies! Today I have a little mini album I've made with Scrapberry's papers and embellishement. It nothing fancy this time, but a it's a great gift to someone who just had a baby and it's possible to alter it more with photos and embellishments.

I've used the paperline perfect for babies called "Sweet Dreams". Look at the cute button with the litte cat. All the papers, flowers and buttons are Scrapberry's. Here's the front cover.

This album is a envelope album, I used an 3in1 punchboard from We R Memory Keepers and punched out envelopes in a size I like and put them together for a sweet little mini album.

Here are some of the inside pages:
I've made small pocket inserts so it's possible to add some extra pictures and text.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and I would love to hear what you think about it.
