Mixed Media tags - DT Bikuben

Vintage Cards - DT Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello lovelies, it's my turn over at the Wild Orchid blog and I have two vintage cards to share with you.
The first card has more details and the other, I used loads of the Open Roses, Wild Roses and the Pretty Flori flowers. The papers are from Scrapberry's.

The beautiful resin bird is from Prima and was a perfect sentiment to my card. This card is actually a card without media. Shocking isn't it? hahaha :)

I used an old bookpage from a book that's from 1878.. I know.. really old, but this book is in such bad shape, so I think it's better to give it a new use in my scrapbooking.. Ok.. Over to my second card..

This card is a smaller card using the same type of paper as the first one, from Scrapberry's. I embellished with Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and some rhinestones.

I'm joining in these challenges with first my card:

Thank you so much for dropping by my blog today! I'd love to hear what you think.

Altered Tin and Spool Stand

Hello lovelies! I hope everyone is good, it's soon Easter holiday's here in Norway and I hope that you are going to enjoy yourself alot this Easter. Of course I have a little share today. I made an Altered Tin and Spool stand I'm really excited about.

I got my mixed media on while making this little stand. I added so many Wild Orchid Flowers on this and loads of mixed media products like Crackle paste, sprays and Finnabairs waxes.

I put this together by using a wooden spool and a small fish tin on top of it and covered it with crackle paint, mists and art Alchemy Waxes. I decorated it with loads of Wild Orchid flowers, Prima resin decor and  little 7dots Studio Sticker. Do you recongnize the little girl? Well.. It's me! I started dancing ballroom dancing when I was about 4 years old.. my carrier ended in the age of 9 I think.. don't really know why.. :) I wish I still danced though.. I really liked it I remember.

l also added loads of micro beads and glitter to my project, long with strings and flowers.

I'm joining in these challenges with my little project:

Special - Layout - DT Scrapberry's

Hello my lovelies! Yesterday it was my turn over at the Scrapberry's blog. I made a layout this time I would like to share with you:

I used the "Words Live Forever" collection from Scrapberry's and some bits and pieces from the "Primavera" collection. I aslo added some old bookpages and doilies.

I started my page with embossing some starts with a stamp from Northstar Stamps. I used white ink to add the script with another background stamp, but this one is from Prima. I splattered some white dylusions ink and some glimmer glam "Rockin on Sunshine" to add some more interest.

I ended up not using any flowers on this, just paper embellishment, rhinestones and resins. All from Scrapberry's. Do you spot the super cute flair button?

The resin are from an older Scrapberry's collection, but you could still get them. It's from the "Vintage Circus" collection. I think the carousell was cute as my little Finnley is sleeping in my lap.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, for more inspiration with Scrapberry's products. Please go check out the blog. Hugs!

Hexagon box and Envelope - DT Scrapberry's

Goood morning lovlies! Back today to share my Scrapberry's project I posted on their blog a couple of days ago. These past dates I have numeral posts on the same day so I'm trying to spread it out abit on my blog. :) I made a little set with a hexagon shaped box and a little envelope.

I made myself a template to make this little hexagon box you can fill with whatever your hearts desire. The envelope are perfect for a money gift or gift card :)

So after I fashioned myself a little template I made a lid and a bottom. I stamped on the lid and added flowers, ribbons, twine and Scrapberry's embellishement. The Collection I've used is called "Cherised Jewels".

The bird is a beautiful Resin made by Scrapberry's. The large Pion like flower in the middle I bought at Ali Express. :) The Chipboard in the background is from Blue Fern and I've colored it with white splash ink from 13@rts.

I tried to match the little envelope and box by using the same products.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today :) If you would like to see other creations made with Scrapberry products. Please head on over to their blog

Make sure to stop by tomorrow! I have a new project to share :)

Mixed Media Pallet - DT Maya Road

Hello! Back today with a new share. This was one of CHA projects for Maya Road this year, mixed media on a pallet.

So Maya Road has come out with this fun little pallets that's awesome for any project. I played around with different things on my pallet, like mini wood slices also a Maya Road product, Art Stones from Prima and loads of texture with old tekstils and ribbons.

My pallet messures 6x6" and I painted it with gesso. I stamped abit with a easy background script stamp and glued loads of the mini wood slices. I used the Art Stones to fill the gaps in my background.

I decorated with resin flowers, roses and leaves all from Maya Road. After gluing everything down I painted with watercolor confections from Prima. As a last touch I used Inka Gold - Old silver on top.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my pallet! :) I'd love to hear what you think about my project. Mixed Media Ampersand - Artists Live Show

Hello Hello Everyone!  Today I was up at Artists Live Ustream Show teaching how to recreate this little Ampersand using loads of Prima Products and my new favorite - the Izinks!

I've used a MDF figure and I added loads of fun mixed media techniques using stencils, modeling paste, texture paste and gesso. I also added some Viva decor - Inka Gold on the top of everything.

I added a couple of metal items like the barn stars from Finnabair's collection, rustic gears and a resin frame and of course loads of lovely flowers. If you would like to see how the project was made please check out the recording below.

I really liked making this project.. It's a fantastic gift for a wedding, for a couple of friends.

The wings on my project are from Tim Holtz with Prima Marketing Barn Stars and Nobs. Isn't the texture amazing?

Glass Jar Ornament - DT Maya Road

I'm all about ornaments this year and I did another video tutorial using gorgeous Maya Road products to make it. Even though Christmas eve is over and some of you might take down your trees. It's the best time to using some of your christmas embellishments before you clear them all away. And Christmas comes next year as well..  :) :) and isn't this the cutest little gift?

So I took an empty baby food jar and did a little wintery scene in side with a reindeer and bottle brush trees.

Would you like to see how I made my ornament? Please take a look at the video below.

Like I said in the video I do recommend using some sort of Heavy Body gel to glue the deer and the trees inside the jar.. It took a few days for the glue to really set in side. Cover the glue resedue with some of the snow tex.

I embellished the lid with real pinecones and raspberry beads from Maya Road.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you liked my video.
Hopefully you'll still have a fantastic Chrismas time.

Matchbook Card Tutorial - DT Flying Unicorn

Hello Everyone. Today is my day over at the Flying Unicorn blog. It's a long post, so I've decided to make it into two posts. I'm starting with my video tutorial - a matchbook card! These are so fun to make and are fantastic as mini albums, and a card that's a bit more than just one page.

I've used the Salvage District line from Prima Marketing with loads of flowers. The stamp is from Kort & Godt.

I fuzzy cut some images from the collection. I love to fuzzy cut, it just gives you so many elements to work with. If you want to see how I made my card please take a look at my video.

Here's a look on the accordian inside:

You can do so much with the accordian inside, add sentiments, pockets, photos, poems or some well said words the recipient.

I'm joing these challenges with my card:

Confirmation Card - DT Scrapberry's

Hello Sweet people! It's my turn over at the Scrapberry's blog and today I have a card to share. It's a card made for my mother in law.. She's going to a Confirmation soon, so she  needed a card.

This time I've created a project with ONLY scrapberry's papers and embellishements. It has just a small sticker that's from a Norwegain Scrapbook Company called Papirdesign. The collection I've used is called "Young and Free" and I've used almost every single paper in the collection. I love layers!

I wanted to make the card bright and happy and the collection is perfect for that. The flowers and embellishments add perfect accents for this card.

I love the wrinkle - Shabby Ribbon that I've added in the corner under the flowers. Perfect space filler!

Mixed Media Mini Album - DT Maya Road

Hello everyone! It's my day over at the Maya Road blog and this time I wanted to decorate a mini album cover and Maya Road has the best chipboard mini's ever. I also did a video tutorial on it :)

I've use loads of media on my mini album cover and loads of very pretty Maya Road flowers and other embellishments. I've also used Maya Road's doily dies.

The album is a 5x5" Chipboard Album and comes in natural kraft. I've painted the whole album with white gesso and white crackle paint. Here's the video on how I made my album.

The crackle is gorgeous! I've use Finnabairs Crackle paste  and Lindy's Stamp Gang mist's. to color the crackles. I love the way they get highlighted with color..

I love this cute key from Maya Road. It's perfect on the spine of my album. The Felt roses are one of my favorite Maya Road flower.

I'm entering my mini album in Lindy's stamp gang's moodboard challenge

These are the two product's I've used on my mini album:

Explosion Box - DT Scrapberry's

Hello my lovelies! Back again today with my first project this month for Scrapberry's designteam. I've made a Explosion box for my nieses confirmation and I've played with the gorgeous blue papers from the "Butterfly Collection".

I've used a chipboard cake from Crafty Moly for my center piece and decorated it with butterflies fuzzycut out of the papers in the collection. The Rhinestones and the blue flowers are also Scrapberry's embellishements. The little golden dots around the egde of the cake is "Dimentional Crystals" by Art Anthology.

Here's the box when put together with the lid on top. I've decorated with a large bow, flowers from scrapberry's and Prima and beautiful resin butterflies from Scrapberry's.

The sides hold pockets to put money and the fourth "flap" has place to write to the recipient.
A little detail on my box. This is one of the pockets to put some money.

I'm joining in these challenges with my explosion box:
