Driftwood Boat - DT Scrapki Wyzwaniowo

Hello lovelies! It's been ages again since I've shared anything I've made.. I've been busy climbing mountains the better part of this summer and haven't really spent much time in my craftroom. I don't really feel guilty about it, but here's a little something I made for Scrapki's last challenge.

The challenge that time was "Home Decor" so I thought I'd make a driftwood boat. It was so much fun to make! I regulary go to the shore and collect random tidbits to use in my crafts and I found some pieces of wood and sticks and thought why not make a boat? So I did.

I played with papers from 7dots studio, flowers and Charms from Prima. I also painted a bit with the Patina Effect paste.  I also used decorations from Maya Road.

The beautiful lace is from Wild Orchid and where perfect on the sails. The button and the canvas banner is from Maya Road. The twine cording is also from Maya Road.

The charms on this little home decor piece is from Prima's collection "St.Tropez". They are beautifully detailed.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! :)

Steampunkish Card - DT Maya Road

Heellloo!! Finally something is happening on my blog, twice in a week! That's not to shabby. Today I have a Steampunkish card to share with you. I made this card AGES ago for Maya Roads CHA. But I taught today was a good day to share it. I haven't shown it anywhere else before today.

I used papers from Fleur Design on this card, love those papers. It hurt a bit to cut in them. Hahaha.. I used my sewing machine and stitched around the egdes. Added some layers with Maya Road tags and used modeling paste on top.

I made a fun face by using Maya Road glasses and moustache on top of the lightbulb. I also added a button and lightbulb transparency. On top I splashed abit with glimmer glam - stiletto from Tattered Angels. On top of the glasses and moustache I added a bit of Inka Gold - Old Silver.

I'm joining in these challenges with my card:

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! So happy you where here :)

Mixed Media Pallet - DT Maya Road

Hello! Back today with a new share. This was one of CHA projects for Maya Road this year, mixed media on a pallet.

So Maya Road has come out with this fun little pallets that's awesome for any project. I played around with different things on my pallet, like mini wood slices also a Maya Road product, Art Stones from Prima and loads of texture with old tekstils and ribbons.

My pallet messures 6x6" and I painted it with gesso. I stamped abit with a easy background script stamp and glued loads of the mini wood slices. I used the Art Stones to fill the gaps in my background.

I decorated with resin flowers, roses and leaves all from Maya Road. After gluing everything down I painted with watercolor confections from Prima. As a last touch I used Inka Gold - Old silver on top.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my pallet! :) I'd love to hear what you think about my project. And if you like these pallets and other wood items from Maya Road, they are having a sale now where you get 20% off all wood items using the cupon code: WoodUBeMine at www.Mayaroad.com. Glass Jar Ornament - DT Maya Road

I'm all about ornaments this year and I did another video tutorial using gorgeous Maya Road products to make it. Even though Christmas eve is over and some of you might take down your trees. It's the best time to using some of your christmas embellishments before you clear them all away. And Christmas comes next year as well..  :) :) and isn't this the cutest little gift?

So I took an empty baby food jar and did a little wintery scene in side with a reindeer and bottle brush trees.

Would you like to see how I made my ornament? Please take a look at the video below.

Like I said in the video I do recommend using some sort of Heavy Body gel to glue the deer and the trees inside the jar.. It took a few days for the glue to really set in side. Cover the glue resedue with some of the snow tex.

I embellished the lid with real pinecones and raspberry beads from Maya Road.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you liked my video.
Hopefully you'll still have a fantastic Chrismas time.

Quirky Card - DT Maya Road

Hello everyone! Back again today to share with you a fun card I made as DT for Maya Road. I made this at the Rensvik Crop witch I'm apart of the administation. So one of the girls - Kjersti - thought of this idea to hand out 2 papers each from this old paper collection from DieCuts with a View, and our fierce leader - Wenche and I we figured we'd share two papers and make something of it. So here are the card I made of that challenge.

So the papers gave me the idea of making a gentleman's card. I used some vintage papers, a couple of playing cards and some Maya Road embellishments and made a quite quirky card.

I made a little face by using a star, adding Maya Road glasses and a moustache from Korthobby.no. I thought all gentlemen needed a bow so I just had to add that. I made the eyes, nose and mouth with a circle punch and added a bit of glossy accent to the nose. I also added a sweet little charm from Korthobby.no.

Oh! I need to tell you about the moustache! It's from Korthobby.no and are made of felt.

I'm entering these challenges with my card:

Remember - Layout - DT Scrapberry's & Maya Road

Hello!! It's too long since my last post but today I'm up on the Maya Road and Scrapberry's blog with a vintage layout.

This is my grandmother's siblings and she's the one with her head turned.. Anyways, used loads of Scrapberry's products and Maya Road embellishments. I also played with some mediums on it, lots of stamping and splashing.

I  love resin frames and Scrapberry's as loads to offer. I also added the metal plaque with the word "Remember". The "Photo Archive" collection from Scrapberry's is perfect for Vintage layouts like this one.
I fuzzy cut some images out of some of the papers in the collection. The Resin flowers and rhinestones are so gorgeous. I love them.

The key and felt rose is from Maya Road the same with the feather you just can spot on the photo. I painted it with Finnabair's Metallique paint.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Be sure to visit the Maya Road and Scrapberry's blog for more inspiration.

I've played with the newest 7dots Studio Collection "Homegrown" witch is a gorgeous collection of papers. Let's take a look at this months challenge:

And this is my take on the challenge:
So I actually made a layout without any flowers. I'm as shocked as you are. I've splattered with Colorbloom - Coral and Deep Teal.  I've used an old lace curtain to create texture in the background along with some stamping. The wire feathers are from Maya Road. The chipboards, stickers and papers are of course the "Home grown" collection from 7dots Studio. And not to forget. The heart witch is a relic and artifact by Sandra Evertson. Itsn't it stunning?

Mixed Media Mini Album - DT Maya Road

Hello everyone! It's my day over at the Maya Road blog and this time I wanted to decorate a mini album cover and Maya Road has the best chipboard mini's ever. I also did a video tutorial on it :)

I've use loads of media on my mini album cover and loads of very pretty Maya Road flowers and other embellishments. I've also used Maya Road's doily dies.

The album is a 5x5" Chipboard Album and comes in natural kraft. I've painted the whole album with white gesso and white crackle paint. Here's the video on how I made my album.

The crackle is gorgeous! I've use Finnabairs Crackle paste  and Lindy's Stamp Gang mist's. to color the crackles. I love the way they get highlighted with color..

I love this cute key from Maya Road. It's perfect on the spine of my album. The Felt roses are one of my favorite Maya Road flower.

I'm entering my mini album in Lindy's stamp gang's moodboard challenge

These are the two product's I've used on my mini album:

Hello Card - DT Maya Road

Hello Lovelies! Back today (finally) with a new project! I made a card today with loads of fun embellishements from Maya Road and gorgeous papers from 7dots Studio designed by the most talented DeeDee Catron.

I created a kind off masculine birthday card with the "Lost and Found" collection from 7dots Studio.

As you all know I do love my layers and this card isn't any different. I use disgarded chipboard pieces to get dimension and the possiblity to tuck things underneath my layers to create more interest. I've use Maya Road Journaling tags and kraft envelope as the base for my card. I also used stickers from 7dots Studio, buttons and lightbulb transparencies from Maya Road. The cute camera charm is also from Maya Road.

I'll be joining in these challenges with my card:

Happy Layout - DT Flying Unicorn & Maya Road.

Hi all! Today I'm up on the Flying Unicorn blog with two projects today, but I'll be splitting that post into two seperate blogposts to prevent the post being so long, so today I'll be sharing a layout made with Maja Designs "Summer Crush" Collection featuring loads of Prima and Maya Road products. I also made a video tutorial to go with it. :)

This page had such happy colors so if found the title quite fitting for this page.

I've used gesso in the background, but it doesn't show as well as I wanted I'm afraid. Splashed with colorbloom sprays and white dyluisons white linen mist.

If you would like to see this layout step-by-step. Please take a look at my video tutorial:

The title is a chipboard piece from 13@rts. The little hanger and paper clip piece is from Maya Road. Love those. The little felt flowers are also Maya Road. The Pearls are from Prima.

The dimensional crystals from Art Anthology gives a lot of interest to the page.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and make sure to visit tomorrow for a new project and video tutorial.

Sweet Vintage Tag - DT Maya Road

Today it's my day over at the Maya Road blog, and I have a sweet tag to share with you. I made this when I was at a crop this weekend. I love going to crops! Usually I teach a bunch of classes and this time wasn't any different. I try to get a load of stuff done, but it was difficult this time. But at least I got to create this :)
I made this with LemonCraft papers and Maya Road and Prima embellishments. I do love creating tags. So much fun not staying inside the "lines" :)

I used the deer resin and small flowers from Maya Road as accents to my tag. I also added a bit of heart ribbon on the top. Love the vintage feel over the ribbon. I fuzzy cut som butterflies and other details out of a LemonCraft papers. Love these papers. So innocent and sweet.

Some close ups of my project. ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by me today. If you'd like to see more lovely projects useing Maya Road products, please head on over to the Maya Road blog :)
