Vintage Cards - DT Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello lovelies, it's my turn over at the Wild Orchid blog and I have two vintage cards to share with you.
The first card has more details and the other, I used loads of the Open Roses, Wild Roses and the Pretty Flori flowers. The papers are from Scrapberry's.

The beautiful resin bird is from Prima and was a perfect sentiment to my card. This card is actually a card without media. Shocking isn't it? hahaha :)

I used an old bookpage from a book that's from 1878.. I know.. really old, but this book is in such bad shape, so I think it's better to give it a new use in my scrapbooking.. Ok.. Over to my second card..

This card is a smaller card using the same type of paper as the first one, from Scrapberry's. I embellished with Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and some rhinestones.

I'm joining in these challenges with first my card:

Thank you so much for dropping by my blog today! I'd love to hear what you think.

Finnabair Weekend - Class Project Part 4

Hi! It's the very first day of December and it's only 24 days until Christmas! How crazy is that. This year just flew past me.. So back today with my last share of my weekend with Finnabair - Anna Dabrowska at Bikuben the 11-13th of November making "The Book of Rust". I was really excited about this class and I was not disapointed.

I had so much fun making this. It has tons of layering and loads of gorgeous product from Prima and the Finnabair collection. I've used rust paste, micro beads and art stones. This is what I made out of that class.

I used a big old book to make this. It's about 20cm x 15cm I think and I played alot with the rust paste and the metallique paints from Prima and the texture is awesome. So much to learn from Anna and her products!

There's so much microbeads, mica flakes and textures on this. It's so fabolous. I really liked  this project. If you are wondering who this lady is. It's in lady (I think a grand aunt) of Andrzej - Finnabair's husband. I really liked her face on this even though it's not her whole face.

This was the last project I did with Finnabair that weekend. And it was also the last class of the weekend. I did 4 out of 5 classes witch isn't to shabby I think.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my Finnabair projects! :) Anna will be back at Bikuben next November 24-26th. I hope I get to play again! :D

Remember - Layout - DT Scrapberry's & Maya Road

Hello!! It's too long since my last post but today I'm up on the Maya Road and Scrapberry's blog with a vintage layout.

This is my grandmother's siblings and she's the one with her head turned.. Anyways, used loads of Scrapberry's products and Maya Road embellishments. I also played with some mediums on it, lots of stamping and splashing.

I  love resin frames and Scrapberry's as loads to offer. I also added the metal plaque with the word "Remember". The "Photo Archive" collection from Scrapberry's is perfect for Vintage layouts like this one.
I fuzzy cut some images out of some of the papers in the collection. The Resin flowers and rhinestones are so gorgeous. I love them.

The key and felt rose is from Maya Road the same with the feather you just can spot on the photo. I painted it with Finnabair's Metallique paint.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Be sure to visit the Maya Road and Scrapberry's blog for more inspiration.

Sweet Vintage Tag - DT Maya Road

Today it's my day over at the Maya Road blog, and I have a sweet tag to share with you. I made this when I was at a crop this weekend. I love going to crops! Usually I teach a bunch of classes and this time wasn't any different. I try to get a load of stuff done, but it was difficult this time. But at least I got to create this :)
I made this with LemonCraft papers and Maya Road and Prima embellishments. I do love creating tags. So much fun not staying inside the "lines" :)

I used the deer resin and small flowers from Maya Road as accents to my tag. I also added a bit of heart ribbon on the top. Love the vintage feel over the ribbon. I fuzzy cut som butterflies and other details out of a LemonCraft papers. Love these papers. So innocent and sweet.

Some close ups of my project. ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by me today. If you'd like to see more lovely projects useing Maya Road products, please head on over to the Maya Road blog :)

Romantic Tag II

Making tags are so relaxing I think because you play in such a small area and I love to cluster and to make my small projects like tags and cards with loads of stuff on them. So I made another Romantic tag with the same kit as the first one, the kit from the Flying Unicorns from July.

I've used mostly Prima Products on this tag. The papers, tags and I also think the wood Icon is from the Debutante collection. The flowers I got from the kit and some I  had in my stash. I used loads of sewing tread and microbeads to create details.

The chipboard corners are wycinaka and I covered them in microbeads. Give such awesome detail!

So this is my second romantic tag and with this one I'm entering in these challenges:

Thank you so much for joining me today and I would love to here what you think! :) Have a fantastic creative wednesday! :)

Hello everyone! It's my day over at the Marion Smith Designs blog and I've made my first video tutorial for MSD! Soo excited! Marion Smith has gorgeous paper and embellishment. Not to forget that Colorlab is SO fun to work with! :)

I've used papers for the "Posh" Collection. I've also used Junque and gems and Marion's beautiful flowers that match the collection! She also has some that's easy to color like you want them with colorlab.

This is a picture of some of my family members. I do love them on that motorbike! So awesome. I did loooads of stamping, gesso's and colorlab on this. I work loads on my background this time. I've fuzzy cut all the paper from the Posh collection and added the die-cuts to my page. If you'd like to see how I made this layout, please take a look at my tutorial video down below. :)

The colors I used in this video is Tea Stain, the recipe is in the booklet you get when you buy colorlab. I also used a color I call dirty pink witch I made myself. I took basis of one of the pink recepies you get and added a bit of brown. :)
Look at that beautiful flower! The birds nest is a junque and gem from MSD, also the large Rhinestone. Gorgeous! :) The stamps used are mainly from Marion Smith Designs. Go check out all their products here.

Thank you so much for joining me today and I would looove a comment on my project!

Breathe.love.be - mini album DT Maya Road

Hello everyone! Today is my day at Maya Road and I've created a mini album using their Canvas covered chipboard album with a video tutorial! :)

Almost all of the embellishement on my project is Maya Road exept some of the flowers. I've used some prima ones to add a bit more to the clustering.

I've used different types of medium to cover my album if you'd like to see how I made it please check out my tutorial video. The mini pearls on the frame I added later using Art Anthology paints.

As promised here are some of the inside pages. I've used the new "Debutante" collection from Prima, papers, tags and ATC cards. The little cute text strips are from 7dots Studio. I really really love those.

The thought is to add pictures useing an Instax camera and text before delivering it. I couldn't embellish the pages really heavily because I wouldn't be able to close the album.. But it looks lush right?

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I wish everyone a fantastic creative monday! :)

Hello everyone! This weekend I had a blast at a crop in Rensvik, Norway. I made cards, tags and layouts aaand chatting to amazing people with the same hobby as you. There where a couple of challenges and one of these where a picture of a Pin up girl with an umbrella. Perfect match with papers from Marion Smith Designs. So this is my DT card for this month :)

On my card I played a bit with the "Garment District" line and the 6x6" paper pad. There are gorgoeus elements in the collection that was perfekt for my little pinup girl.

I love fuzzy cutting and I cut out this spool and a spool top. I also used some other images found in the Garment district 6x6" paper pad. Punched out some leaves in a little left over Nirvana Collection paper piece and glued them on. Tucked some pieces with the white glitter stems in with the leaves. For my norwegian readers: Bikuben har fortsatt en god del av disse Marion Smith Designs produktene! Ta en titt i nettbutikken.

Thanks for stopping by me today! Leave me a comment and I'll leave one back! :)

Notater - A small journal - DT Inkido

It's actually been my turn at the Inkido blog quite a few times this month but since I've been sick for about 3 weeks I had to change my dates a couple of times. But without more fuss and date changes, here are my project for this months Inkido Challenge. :)

I've been very true to Inkdio this time, there are just 4 items on that book front that isn't Inkido. All the lovely papers, flowers and rhinestones all are Inkido products. I even used a packing slip for one of the flowers to make this book. Even that's too gorgeous to be thrown away. :)

I wanted to keep it in the greens this time. Spring is just around the corner and I'm so looking forward to it. I put on some rhinestones and gems since the challenge photo clearly includes a lot of gems. :)

I hope you liked my book! Thanks for stopping by me today!
