Sisters - Layout - DT Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello everyone! Back today with another share, today I'm up on the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog with a layout to share. I had so much fun making this layout. Let me tell you all about it!

These are my sisters, way back when I was young.. hahaha.. Well.. The picture is about 15-16years old I guess and just a fun memory to scrapbook, because that's what it's all about isn't it? So I made this layout at a crop, this was a challenge and you had to finish in one hour. I used about 45minutes to come up with the idea and making it happen.

The challenge was to use purple, you had to borrow something from your neighbour and use some embossing dry or wet. So I did a bit of mixed media on the background like adding modeling paste, mists and some stamping and of course embossing. You don't know how rushed you feel when you are trying to dry mist and wet medium and making a decent layout at the same time. All in one hour.

I used some of the white open roses and some Pretty Flori - Anemone flowers from Wild Orchid and adding a soda can opener just for fun. I also borrowed some of the punchinella from my neighbor Kjersti at the crop and stapled them on.

I added some large magnolias, anemone and roses to my project, of course from Wild Orchid. The flowers are really good quality flowers and perfect for any project.

New challenges!! DT Scrapberry's, Craftmoly & Korthobby.

Oh yes.. It's the first couple of days into a new month and it's time for new challenges. This time I did a 3 in 1. 3 challenges into one piece :)

Allright! Let me tell you about all the challenges my piece is about. 

• Scrapberry's - It's all about pink. Make a project using loads of pink!
• CraftyMoly - Flower Power. So projects with loads of flowers
• Korthobby.no - Anything Goes as long as you use metals from Korthobby.

This is a commisson piece I made for a friend who was going to a baby shower. So don't worry I'm not pregnant and I'm not having a girl. LOL. The UL picture is just for illustration :) 

I've used papers from Scrapberry's including embellishements like flowers and resins. The chipboard leaves and hearts are from Crafty Moly. 

Isn't this little bunny sooo cute. I've used two 6x6" Paper Pads from Scrapberry's. And this one comes in the "My Little Star" collection. The little rattle and the button is also Scrapberry's embellishment.

This heart charm is from Korthobby.no and is one of my favorite metal pieces. The hanger is from Crafty Secrets but I had this in my stash for quite sometime.

I made a mixed media layout with a picture my hubby took of my oldest son Felix when we where in Spain 2 years ago, Playing in the sea. aaah... the sea and sun.. :) :)

I have of course used products from 7dots Studio! I've used the Messy Head collection for my background and the unknown destination collection stickers and tags as decorations. The chipboards also 7dots Studio. The flowers and resin are Prima :)

Smile - Layout!

I had some free time yesterday.. oh well.. the dishes and dust bunnies are there tomorrow as well.. :P Soo I made a layout following the Prima BAP sketch! :)

I've played with soooo much prima goodies!! I've used the newest collection "Garden Fable" on this. Paper, most of the flowers and chipboards all are from that collection. This is the BAP sketch:

and this is my take on it: 

Loads of layes, flowers, sequins and some stamping with the newest Finnabair stamps.. They are sooo awesome and fantastic to stamp with! 

On the background I've played with Color Blooms, stamping and gesso. 

I'm of course entering the Prima BAP challenge for June with this layout. I'm aslo entering the Berry71Bleu stamp it up challenge and Anma.no's #anmasommer - challenge.

All good things come to and end...

My good friend Vibeke Spigseth - Owner and Designer of Poppydesign has decided to end her designteam. I've been designing for Vibeke for years and now over the next few days I will share my last Poppydesign DT projects. I'll start with my latest mixed media card.

I've used Poppy design papers for my card. All the papers are Poppy from different collections, mostly the newest and the curiosity line.

I've used different stamps in my background, some mist and gesso and I've used glitter in the rosette.

Summer Tag!

Recently I was asked to join the inspirational team for Korthobby.no (a norwegian charms store) I was deligheted to join them and today their new challenge is up! :)

The challenge is all about summer. You can create what ever you like, but it has to contain charms and/or metal pieces from Korthobby.no. This is what I made:

I've used two metalpieces - a small silver scroll and a heart from Korthobby and I've used rubbed them slightly with gesso. 

I do love making tag's.. I've used different papers from 7dots studio, Some left over papers that I had lying around. Used a butterfly I got from the polish kit project and doily, wood frame from Kaisercraft, trim, seam binding ribbon and ecoline colors. 

The title "life is beautiful" is a 7dots Studio sticker.

New challenge at Scraki-Wyzwaniowo!

It's a new month and that  means a new challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo. It's all about the damask pattern. We have a lovely moodboard for you :)

This time I made a burlap canvas for this challenge. It's full of lovely mixed media (witch I LOVE) lace, flowers and some 7dots Studio (of course).

I used a fractured doll from Tim Holtz as my centerpiece for my canvas. I also stamped with a Tim Holtz butterfly stamp. Flowers are Petaloo's :)

For the damask on my project I've used the damask - stencil from 7dots studio. The papers are form various collections from 7 Dots Studio. I  decorated with chipboard pieces, doilies and flowers. A super fun project to make!
