You & Me - Mini Shadowbox - DT Scrapberry's

Hello my lovelies! Today it's my day at the Scrapberry's blog and I have a little sweet project to share with you today. It's getting closer each day to Valentine's day so I made a little project with me and my husband using products from Scrapberry's.

So I adore using these small wooden boxes you get embellishements in and making these small shadow box frame things. This time I took a fun picture of me and hubby to use in my box. The picture isn't perfect. But why does everything need to be?

So I've used the brand new "Butterflies" collection for this shadowframe. I used the die-cut sheet and It had all I needed to complete it. The ruffle ribbon on top, added with the rhinestones in the same color just gave it a little pop. The resin word "you&me" is perfect for my little piece.

Love the little saying in this and added a little die-cut chipboard heart for sweetness. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by me today! Hope you enjoyed my project. For more projects please take a look at the international Scrapberry's blog.

Halloween Shadowbox DT Marion Smith Designs

Hello my sweets! It's yet another day and my turn at Marion Smiths Designteam blog. I made another shadowbox for today but this time I did a Halloween project! oh yes.. It's all about the spooks and scares today :)

I do love to make this shadowboxes even though they are small, they actually do take quite sometime to make! It's just soo many small embellishment in one piece.

I've used papers in the background from Marion Smith Designs "Wicked Times" Collection and the Skeleton - witch I think is just super cool - is also Marion Smith. I've also used junque and gems tear drop gems, bottles and flowers.

I've painted the shadowbox with black gesso, added colorlab pigment into white gesso and created the orange and purple paint. I added a coat of white gesso to the skeleton and the whole box is covered in crackle paint. Still not sure if I like it or not. Oh well.. painted is painted...

Thank you so much for joing me today! I'd love to hear what you think :)

Shadowbox - DT Marion Smith Designs

Hello and good saturday evening everyone! :) Today it's my turn on the Marion Smith Designs blog. We did a blog swap/hop with Petaloo and I recived the most gorgeous Petaloo flowers. We had a theme going on and that was graduation or fathers day. Or fathers day here in Norway isn't due until november.. But here are my fathers day themed Shadowbox.

I've really enjoyed making this I have to say. Steampunk pieces is fun! :) I've used products from Marion Smith Designs "Timekeeper" collection, and Petaloo flowers.

The shadowbox was an old card case. I painted the whole thing with  Finnabair's black gesso and Texture Paste Graphite. I added microbeads to the wet paint. The papers used are from the awesome steampunk collection from MSD called "Timekeeper". I've aslo encluded gears, screws and different metal pieces. The flowers are of course petaloo this time.

I also made a matching tag to go with this shadowbox. Come back tomorrow and you'll see that. If you can't wait you can see it on the MSD blog tonight! :) Thank you so much for stopping by. I would loove a comment. I'll comment back if you leave one.

Have a creative evening!
