New Challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo!

There's a new challenge on at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo. The challenge starts every 1st of the month and today I want to share with you what I made. Since I'm so behind on my blogging I'm hoping I will get a new project up on the blog every day for a little while. :)

The theme this month is leaves. Autumn is a full set outside and what better to scrap some lovely autumn pictures? I've scrapped a photo from when my husband and I was at Clonmacnoise Ireland last year. What a beautiful place that was :)

Here's my take on the challenge:

I've used the new Lost and Found 7dots Collection and a piece of Scrapberry's paper. I've used ecolines and a stencil to make my background. I've also used a flair from UmWow studio. Leaves and flowers are from Prima.

Christmas Card - DT Scrapberry's

Oh my poor neglected blog! I've been super busy ever since we went on holiday to Ireland a month ago to day. Between loads of teaching jobs and meetings I haven't really had the time to update my blog with the latest of my projects. Today is a good day for some updates and I start with a Christmas card for Scrapberry's :)

I've started making my Christmas cards and actually taught 3 christmas card classes allready. I've used last years christmas collection and made a pretty Pink Christmas card this time.

This folds 3 ways, and is really a funny card to make. You have to be a bit concentrated when you messure soo you get the angles right. I've use dies from Tim Holtz, flowers from Prima and of course micro beads, Also used a branch punch from Martha Stewart.

I'm joing in these challenges with my christmas card:

Thank you so much for stopping by me today! :)

Halloween Shadowbox DT Marion Smith Designs

Hello my sweets! It's yet another day and my turn at Marion Smiths Designteam blog. I made another shadowbox for today but this time I did a Halloween project! oh yes.. It's all about the spooks and scares today :)

I do love to make this shadowboxes even though they are small, they actually do take quite sometime to make! It's just soo many small embellishment in one piece.

I've used papers in the background from Marion Smith Designs "Wicked Times" Collection and the Skeleton - witch I think is just super cool - is also Marion Smith. I've also used junque and gems tear drop gems, bottles and flowers.

I've painted the shadowbox with black gesso, added colorlab pigment into white gesso and created the orange and purple paint. I added a coat of white gesso to the skeleton and the whole box is covered in crackle paint. Still not sure if I like it or not. Oh well.. painted is painted...

Thank you so much for joing me today! I'd love to hear what you think :)

A little bit of Magic Video Tutorial - DT SATW

As I shared in an earlier post about Scrap Around the World's September Challenge, I'm up with a video tutorial this month! And I finally can share this with you! :) A bit late but you have the end of today to join in the challenge.

Let's take a look at the moodboard

And this is my take on it

I enjoyed making this layout so much. I've used tea, mists, paints and embossingpowders on my layout, everything I love all at ones. I created loads of white space and made a lot of details on my cluster. Mica Flakes. microbeads and loads of flowers. This is my grandmother out strolling with her first baby, My Aunt. I do adore vintage images so much! :) My assignment was to do a video tutorial.

So here it is:

The papers I've used is Graphic45 and flowers are Prima and Petaloo.. I've used chipboard pieces from 3rd Eye. They are so pretty, a shame you can't get them anymore. :(

Thank you so much for joining me here today and I'd love to hear what you think :)
If you leave me a comment, I'll leave one back! :)

Into the great Unknown - Card - DT Scrapberry's

Back again today with a new card to share with you. I posted this on the Scrapberry's blog a couple of days ago, but haven't had the time to share it here on the blog.

I've played with the Antique shop collection and made this masculine maritime card. I've added loads of twine to make the statement of the Maritime with the embellishements a bit stronger.

The card I made with a folding technique I really love. It's super easy and very decorative. You fold this out of a single sheet of paper and it can what ever size you'd like to be. It makes a pocket you can put a card or what every you'd like in it. I thought the title from 7dots Studio was perfect on my card.
The boat wheel is a resin from Scrapberry's and the other natuical compass is a metalcharm from Korthobby.no.  I've diecuted the boat out and added a scallop boarder on the back. Really decorative.

With this card I'm joining in these challenges:

Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you liked my card.

A sweet Card - DT Marion Smith Designs

Hello Everyone.. I'm sorry to admit that my blog this month has been quite neglected. I've had sooo seriously much stuff to do and It doesn't seem to stop until the mid of October. But I'm here today to show you my latest project for Marion Smith Designs.

I've made a scrap card.. I love to make those out of small pieces you have left from other projects. Why throw away something when you can make a card from it.

Isn't this resin rose just so lush? I really wanted to put this on a card. It makes the card really heavy, so it wouldn't be something you could mail to your friend without beeing ruined at the post office. I added some microbeads and pearls, some other flowers and some twine.

This little bling heart is also a Marion Smith Desings embellishement. Soo sweet.

I'm joining in these challenges with this card:

Thank you so much for joining me here on my blog today! I hope to get my blogging together so I can show you some of my more projects. :)

Mamsen & Tjukkasen - DT layout Scrapberry's

Today it's my day over at the Scrapberry's blog and I'm a bit late with my post. This weekend I've been teaching at Trøndersaksa and when you have 40 students making 4 cards in 2 classes there's LOADS of kitting to do.. Today I'm a bit under the weather, buuut the work needs to be done! :)

This layout is quite different style from what I usally do.. but sometimes it's fun to just do something else. I've used papers from the Antique Shop collection. A lovely masquline collection.

I've not really used loads of layers on this, I've cut some out from the collection and stamped with a stamp from Scrapberry's. I've used thickers to write my tittle added som chalk paint from Prima and some black splats here and there along with som white ones. The top hat is the cuutest thing also a Scrapberry's embellishment.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Be sure to visit the Scrapberry's blog! :)
