Summer Tag!

Recently I was asked to join the inspirational team for Korthobby.no (a norwegian charms store) I was deligheted to join them and today their new challenge is up! :)

The challenge is all about summer. You can create what ever you like, but it has to contain charms and/or metal pieces from Korthobby.no. This is what I made:

I've used two metalpieces - a small silver scroll and a heart from Korthobby and I've used rubbed them slightly with gesso. 

I do love making tag's.. I've used different papers from 7dots studio, Some left over papers that I had lying around. Used a butterfly I got from the polish kit project and doily, wood frame from Kaisercraft, trim, seam binding ribbon and ecoline colors. 

The title "life is beautiful" is a 7dots Studio sticker.

New challenge at Scraki-Wyzwaniowo!

It's a new month and that  means a new challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo. It's all about the damask pattern. We have a lovely moodboard for you :)

This time I made a burlap canvas for this challenge. It's full of lovely mixed media (witch I LOVE) lace, flowers and some 7dots Studio (of course).

I used a fractured doll from Tim Holtz as my centerpiece for my canvas. I also stamped with a Tim Holtz butterfly stamp. Flowers are Petaloo's :)

For the damask on my project I've used the damask - stencil from 7dots studio. The papers are form various collections from 7 Dots Studio. I  decorated with chipboard pieces, doilies and flowers. A super fun project to make!

Steampunk Tag - DT Marion Smith Designs

Yesterday I showed you a Shadowbox I made for the Marion Smith Designs and Petaloo Bloghop/Swap. I also made a matching tag, witch I showing you today:)

I do love the newest paperlines from Marion Smith Designs! They are GORGEOUS. "Timekeeper" s fantastic! :) I've used different scraps of paper from the collection and put together a tag. 

I've used petaloo sugar blooms, and velvet flowers from Petaloo also. I added gears and bits and pieces to make my tag. I love layers and clustering. Added some colorlab teal color on top and glimmer glam "Stiletto". Also added yellow Ecoline.

Shadowbox - DT Marion Smith Designs

Hello and good saturday evening everyone! :) Today it's my turn on the Marion Smith Designs blog. We did a blog swap/hop with Petaloo and I recived the most gorgeous Petaloo flowers. We had a theme going on and that was graduation or fathers day. Or fathers day here in Norway isn't due until november.. But here are my fathers day themed Shadowbox.

I've really enjoyed making this I have to say. Steampunk pieces is fun! :) I've used products from Marion Smith Designs "Timekeeper" collection, and Petaloo flowers.

The shadowbox was an old card case. I painted the whole thing with  Finnabair's black gesso and Texture Paste Graphite. I added microbeads to the wet paint. The papers used are from the awesome steampunk collection from MSD called "Timekeeper". I've aslo encluded gears, screws and different metal pieces. The flowers are of course petaloo this time.

New Home Card - Poppydesign!

Hello! Today I have a new card to share with you! :) Last week was my Poppydesign week, and I made a card that would be perfect to give to a new homeowner! :)

I've played with Poppydesign - Curiosity paper line, Blue Fern Chipboards and and old heart chipboard piece from Heidi Swapp.

I've stamped a bit with Poppydesign stamps and one from KaiserCraft. I also added some touches with my precious ecolines.

Confirmation Card

My lovely neighboor asked me last night if I could help her out with a card to a confirmation.. And I have to admit that was such a great excuse to get to play a bit. I have been moving my craft space from on room to another and I have SO much to go threw that I needed a break..

I've played with the Butterfly collection from Prima on this, used metall from KortHobby.no and loads of flowers.

I've fuzzy cut a beautiful fairy added a couple of butterflies and loads of flowers and chipboard from wyzinaka. I also stamped in the rose metal oval and added glossy accent on top.

The whole card is misted with Perfect Pearls mist "Perfect Pearl". I hope the reciver will be happy :)

Some exciting news!

I have not one but two news to share with you all :)

Marion Smith from the awesome company Marion Smith Designs, asked me to join them for another year.. How could I turn that down? The products are awesome!! :)

I can't wait to start creating again with all the marvelous papers and products from Marion Smith...

Aaand... for my second news.. I got a happy mail from the designteam coordinator of Maya Road inviting me to join their team!

So excited to join their wonderful team of artists! Can't wait to work with the Maya Road Embellishments and mini albums. 

May is off to a great start! Happy!! :D

x's and o's - New Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo Challenge!

Long time, no see.. Sorry about that, April has been absolutly one of the worst months of my life.. There has been some glimps of light, but mostly darkness.. :( But I have to solider on, and there is a new challenge over at the scrapki-wyzwaniowo blog. Let me tell you all about it! :)

This months challenge is all about bubbles! Oh yes, loads of circles and, bubbles and microbeads on my layout :)

Here's my take on this challenge:

I've used the 9th wave collection from 7dots studio, chipboard from Blue Fern Studios, Wood frame from KaiserCraft, Flowers are Petaloo's and microbeads in gold! I've also stamped alot with stamps from 7dots Studio's. The X's and O's are Prima. :)

Fairytale - Layout DT Marion Smith Designs

It's saturday again and that means my little spot at Marion Smith Designs blog! Today I have a layout to share with you.. I'm quite happy with this one, and I think I'm going to frame it. Oh well.. over to the layout.

I'm entering in the Scrap'n Pieces Challenge "Fairytale" with this layout. There is an inspirational photo from the scrap'n pieces blog. I'm also entering Berry71bleu in their flowers galore challenge. Scrappelyst's - Lag din egen bakgrunn Challenge.

Here's my layout: 

All the papers are Marion Smith Designs. The main background paper is from the Nirvana Collection and I've used bits and pieces from the garment district paperline. And of course some junque and gems. Flowers are prima. I've used different mediums like colorbloom, tea, and ecolines. I've also used frantage embossing powder and gold glass glitter from Prima.

You - Baby Layout

It's sunday and I actually got to play abit in my room! I'm soo happy about that.. :) I got really inspired by the Scrap Around the World's challenge this time around too.. so I just had to play along. And today I found out that I was winner number 10 in the february challenge! So proud! There was 144 participents! Nooot to shabby ey?? :) now.. over to my layout...

Here is the moodboard I've been inspired from...

And here is my take on the moodboard: 

When I saw the moodboard I thought of this awesome paper from Studio Tekturek and it had to be perfect for this moodboard. I also took inspiration from the colors, and the chevron.The leaves are from Korthobby.no My little baby was so little when he was born that he fitted easley in my top.. <3 nbsp="" p="">

I used flowers from Prima, the letters are also from Prima.. and added glass beads and Frantage embossing powder. I've used ecoline yellow and Prima Color Bloom teal mist. Stamping are both stamps from Prima.

The frame is from Kort & Godt and the rest are prima flowers.. :)
