Memories - Layout DT Flying Unicorns

Back again today to share with you a layout I made with the Flying Unicorns January Kit of The Month. The kit for February are up for pre-order at the store. So go pre-order yours today! IT IS AWESOME!

I've played with papers, mist, chipboards and stickers from 13@arts on my layout. Here are me and my good friend Mia at Blarney Castle, Ireland. Oh what a good day that was.

So I added loads of stamping with the stamp that came in the Main Kit, splashed loads of color with the mists and also white dylusions mist. Added loads of flowers from Prima and a bit of old curtain I had laying around. :) A paintbrush and some wire string and that's about it!

13@rts came out with this lovely valentine paperline and these super cute word stickers. Thought this sticker fitted great on this page :)

You & Me - Mini Shadowbox - DT Scrapberry's

Hello my lovelies! Today it's my day at the Scrapberry's blog and I have a little sweet project to share with you today. It's getting closer each day to Valentine's day so I made a little project with me and my husband using products from Scrapberry's. 

So I adore using these small wooden boxes you get embellishements in and making these small shadow box frame things. This time I took a fun picture of me and hubby to use in my box. The picture isn't perfect. But why does everything need to be?

So I've used the brand new "Butterflies" collection for this shadowframe. I used the die-cut sheet and It had all I needed to complete it. The ruffle ribbon on top, added with the rhinestones in the same color just gave it a little pop. The resin word "you&me" is perfect for my little piece.

Love the little saying in this and added a little die-cut chipboard heart for sweetness. :)

Hello Cyprus - Mini Album DT Maya Road

Hello everyone! It's my turn today at the Maya Road blog and I would like to show you a Mini Album I made for CHA. The CHA convention is happening right now and I feel so lucky to have made some pieces for the display at the Maya Road booth.

My first share is this mini album I made with some of the highlights of our vacation this summer to Cyprus!

I've used some of the new products coming out this CHA with the Tassles and the heart dies and the embroidery hoops and buttons. The Papers are from an older Heidi Swapp collection.

One of the pages inside the album. I've used the new mini blossom resins and buttons. The "love" word is a awesome dies. I've also used some curragated tags and string. Everything is Maya Road :)

Another of the some of the pages. I've used on of the fantastic new number pins. I really really like them. Also used on of their new tulle flowers. The "mine" word is a dies. All my boys <3 nbsp="" p="">

Here I've used one of the new scallop frame dies and cut it in half. Also added one of the word dies and a cool star button.

The album I've used is actually an Maya Road. They are fantastic to alter and they are made out of thick cardboard.

Canvas Video Tutorial for the Flying Unicorns

Today is a good day. Well.. sort of.. It's my birthday and I'm getting WAY to old.. Hahaha.. I do have a video tutorial to share today. Made this for the Flying Unicorn using the lovely January KOM.. I do believe there's still kits avaliable, so grab your kits while you can before the sell out. You can find the January kits here.

I've used the mixed media kit, the add on flower kit and some bits and pieces from the two others. And here are the finished canvas.

I used a black canvas, misted with paints from 13@rts and added embellishments from Prima. All found in the kit.

A Close up of my white brushing, and some of the details with the microbeads, glass beads and glass glitter. You can also see some of the stencil details in the background. 

I have to say I'm quite happy with my canvas and I hope you liked my tutorial.

Happy, Moments, Captured - DT Scrapberry's

It's my day over at the Scrapberry's blog, and I have made a layout I'd like to share with you. It's not often I get to snap som photo's of my oldest son, so these photos are precious to me.

I've used the one of the new collections from Scrapberry's  - "Photo Archive". These papers are awesome and I love the vintage feel.

When I made my tag I should a couple of days ago, I had a cut a little piece of paper out of 3 new sheets of paper. So I thought I would put them together to make one page. I glued them together. I stamped a bit with different background stamps and splashed with white dylusions picket fence mist.

I used embellishements from different collection like the automobile collection. and Wind of travel.

The beautiful button is from the "Holiday Romance" collection. I also added some gems.

Made with Love Tag - Scrapberry's Challenge

In the first of the month it's always loads of new challenges and loads of post, today I'd like to share with you the new challenge at Scrapberry's.

This months challenge is to make a tag. You can make the size you'd like but you do have to use at least 50% Scrapberry's product. :) I've used a fairly new collection called Photo Archive. 

I added loads of embellishements, papers and clustered it on my tag. All the papers are from the same collection. The large center flower and the cork clock is Scrapberry's. The same goes for the pretty Lily flower and the pearls. I used a dies and die-cutted into some of the papers form the collection. 

I splashed loads of Dylusions White Linen spray on top with a brush. And dry brushed th flowers with gesso.

Altered Bottle - Flying Unicorn January KOM

I had the best of times creating for the Flying Unicorn January Kit. I want to show you an Altered Bottle I made with the Mixed-Media Kit and Add-on Flower Kit. 

Let's take a look at the kit I used:

and here is  my bottle: 

I've also used some bits and pieces from the Main Kit. Painted my bottle with white gesso at first. Added texture with the stencil in the kit and modeling paste. Covered with gesso again and glued on a piece of old curtain and wire string. 

I misted with the mists in the kit from 13@rts - Chalk Dirty Pink, Pastel Dirty Pink, Pastel Black and Chalk Grey. After finishing making the texture of the bottle the way I liked it, I glued on the embellishements I liked. 

I dry brushed gesso on top of the flowers and added micro beads in silver and pink coloured flakes also from 13@rts. I think I got those in a previous kit. 

The word is a 13@rts Chipboard and I have to say.. I utterly love them.. They are large enough to fit on a scrapbook page, and actually quite durable. Awesome addition to the Main Kit.

New Challenge at Scraki-Wyzwaniowo!

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!! I hope this year will be loads better than 2015 for me.. 2015 has been an amazing year if I only include scrapbooking and the amount of teaching I did. I hope 2016 will be even better. On a personal level I can't wait to get rid of 2015 and bring on the 2016. I'm crossing fingers and toes that it will be better than 2015.. Anyways! New challenge is up at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo and it's a good one!! :)

So this month Challenge is to  make something altered.. I made a Dreamcatcher for my sister. She got it as a Christmas Present :)
